STOMPer Kevin was appalled by the behaviour of this guy, who was awake and well aware that the train was crowded but did not bother to shift his plastic bag and offer the seat to someone who needed it more.
"I am seeing more and more this kind of behaviour nowadays," he told STOMP.
"It makes my blood boil.
"I actually got up and offered my seat to someone who needed it more because the train was very crowded.
"But this guy did not bother to give up the seat which his plastic bag was on, at all.
"Of course, no one bothered to speak up, but it is sad to see more and more people behaving like that."
The STOMPer was travelling on the train from on the East-West line at about 10:30pm on Sunday (Feb 7).
